Overflowing water, loose sections, leaking joints, and stains below the roofline can mean a gutter system needs attention. We repair and replace gutters on homes and commercial buildings.

Gutter repairs and replacement

We look at the gutter run, fasteners, seams, slope, and downspout path. The estimate describes the repair or replacement work being considered. Related roof-edge, siding, or trim repairs can be included when they are part of the project.

Common Questions

Answers That Help You Plan Ahead

What should I do if shingles are missing from my roof?

Photograph what you can from the ground. Keep people away from loose materials, and arrange temporary protection if water can enter. Do not climb onto a damaged roof. Ask us for a written repair estimate.

Can hail damage a roof even if it is not leaking?

Yes. A roof can have damage without an immediate leak. Have the condition documented. A dent on a vent or a mark on a fence does not, by itself, prove roof damage.

How long do I have to report storm damage in Texas?

Check your policy and report suspected damage promptly. Some policies require a report within one year. Deadlines, extensions and proof requirements vary. Do not assume every policy gives you six or twelve months.

Insurance approved my roof claim. What do I do next?

Compare the insurer’s estimate with the proposed repair contract. Ask your insurer about the deductible, depreciation, repair deadlines and any mortgage company listed on the check.

What if my roof claim was denied?

Ask for the written reason and policy language. Submit any missing photographs or construction estimate and request review. Our homeowner guide explains TDI complaint options and when to ask a Texas attorney about a continuing dispute.

What is a roof surface payment schedule?

It can limit the roof payment according to age and material, leaving you owing more than your deductible. Ask your agent to explain the endorsement and whether any reduction is recoverable after repairs.

Can a Texas roofer waive my insurance deductible?

No. Texas law prohibits deductible waivers and rebates by contractors. Ask your insurer to confirm your deductible in dollars.

Can Scott meet the insurance adjuster?

Scott can document damage, provide a construction estimate and discuss technical repair details. Your insurer determines coverage. Lone Star Remodeling does not negotiate your insurance settlement.
